Clean-Up Day Thank You

A sincere thank you to the incredible number of volunteers who came out to help prepare our Club for Opening Daytruly making it look its best ever. With approximately 80 members contributing their time and energy, it was a tremendous show of spirit and pride. The work was no small task, but despite the effort, the crew kept spirits highlaughing, smiling, and transforming the Club with the care and attention.

Clean-Up Day plays an important role in getting the Club ready, and thanks to your efforts, we are now well prepared to welcome members and guests in the months ahead. A big thank you as well for the wonderful lunch that kept everyone goingwhether it was the vegetarian burgers, hamburgers, salads, or dessert, it was all very much enjoyed.

A special thank you goes to Penny Cameron (Lawns & Gardens), Tom Miller (Marine Facilities), and Bruce Durrant (House and Grounds) for their leadership, organization, and hands-on efforts throughout the day. Their planning ensured everything ran smoothly and that volunteers were able to make a meaningful impact across the property.

We are ready to show off at Opening Day on May 2nd and look forward to celebrating together.

As always, our trusty photographer, John VDH, was there capturing the daybe sure to check out the great photos here: https://mbyc.ca/member-page/2026-photo-albums
